Hi! I’m Joy (they/them)—the human behind Truly Spectacular! A lot of my portraits are about connection, play and helping you feel a little less alone out there! I live in Los Angeles where my main practice is photography but I do a bunch of other stuff just for FUN. Like writing, dancing and playing guitar with the 5 chords I’ve managed to learn. I’ve got a background in fashion and commercial photography but personal portraiture has been a place for me to slow down, try new things and tell the truth!
